Listing order and letter grades are never influenced by payment. Every arborist is evaluated against the same five criteria, whether they've ever heard of us or not.

Our A–D grade scale weighs reviews, credentials, experience, profile completeness, and specialization — not ad spend, not favors, not who sponsored the fall festival.

Every arborist in the directory receives a letter grade from A to D, or shows as "Limited info" when the data is thin, based on five factors drawn from public data.
Rating, volume and recency of Google reviews.
ISA certification, TCIA accreditation, liability insurance, workers' comp, and bonding.
Years actively running a Fox Valley tree operation.
Phone from the Google profile, website, service area, photos of real jobs.
Whether tree care is their core business, not a landscaping side gig.
